Message From Chairman & President

2011 was another successful year for the 200 Club of Middlesex County. Our ranks continue to increase due to the efforts of our Executive Director, Ron H. Franz, retired New Jersey State Police Captain, our trustees and members.

We held our 38th Annual Awards Banquet on May 19th, at the Forsgate Country Club, honoring 59 Public Safety Officers and the Honorable C. Judson Hamlin, former Middlesex County Prosecutor and retired New Jersey Superior Court Judge.

We held our 11th Annual Golf Classic, July 18th, also at the Forsgate Country Club. The Golf Classic resulted in over $14,000 in proceeds, which was awarded in scholarships in August of this year. We also held a joint raffle with the Middlesex Chiefs of Police Association, resulting in $7,990 in revenue, which was divided between both organizations.

On August 4th, we awarded $128,500 in scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of Middlesex County Public Safety Officers at a ceremony hosted by Middlesex County College. We wish to thank Dr. Joann LaPerla-Morales, who was instrumental in providing an evening that was enjoyed by more than 240 students and family members. The scholarships awarded bring our total to over two million, one hundred thirty thousand dollars.

On behalf of the Trustees of the 200 Club of Middlesex County, I would like to thank all our members for their ongoing support, which allows us to demonstrate our appreciation to the Public Safety Community.

We look forward to your continued support and membership in this extraordinary organization.
